Springtime Fruit Tree Care

Benevolence Orchard & Garden fruit tree class in partnership with Community Fruit Rescue

We are beyond grateful for the range of benefits our fruit trees and broader tree canopy afford, in addition to the sustenance (and fun!) harvests bring our community: forage for pollinators, wildlife habitat, carbon sequestration, water storage, cooling of the local microclimate, and more!

Join us in collaboration with Community Fruit Rescue and Widespread Malus to share in the celebration and learn how to care for your fruit trees! The session will cover meeting your trees’ nutritional needs, efficient water use, building resistance to pests and diseases, and how to be a good neighbor to our local black bears (who also love fresh fruit!).  Our team will introduce participants to a few of our recommended companion plants that will invite a diversity of beneficial species to your property to assist with pest control, pollination, and soil health.

Class Investment | $20

Location | Benevolence Orchard & Gardens
