Market Garden Manager
Overview
The Market Garden Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of our diversified market garden, stewarding crops from seed to harvest while maintaining soil health, efficiency, and a positive team culture. This positions will also manage our CSA.
Responsibilities
• Plan, plant, maintain, and harvest diversified vegetable and herb crops
• Manage crop schedules, succession planting, and basic record-keeping
• Oversee irrigation, soil health practices, and pest management using organic/regenerative methods
• Coordinate harvests for farm stand, CSA, and value-added products
• Train, supervise, and work alongside garden assistants and volunteers
• Help maintain tools, infrastructure, and overall garden organization
Ideal Candidate
• 2+ seasons of hands-on market garden or farm experience
• Strong plant knowledge and ability to problem-solve in real time
• Comfortable working independently and leading by example
• Physically capable of outdoor farm work in all weather conditions
• Aligned with regenerative agriculture and community-centered food systems

Market Garden Assistant
Overview
The Market Garden Assistant supports daily garden tasks and works closely with the manager and ownership to keep the garden thriving throughout the season.
Responsibilities
• Assist with planting, weeding, harvesting, and bed preparation
• Support irrigation setup and garden maintenance
• Help with washing, packing, and preparing produce for sale and CSA
• Participate in seasonal projects and occasional events
Ideal Candidate
• Some gardening or farm experience preferred (but not required)
• Reliable, curious, and willing to learn
• Enjoys physical work and being outside
• Interested in regenerative agriculture and local food
