COMPOSTING BASICS and VERMICOMPOSTING (completed)

Please note this class offering will have 2 sessions! Come for the morning, afternoon, or both. 

Morning Session | 10:00 am. - 12:00 p.m.

Providing the best conditions for decomposition is important for making high-quality compost and troubleshooting compost piles gone awry.  We'll cover these topics in the morning. 

Afternoon Session | 1:00 p.m - 3:00 p.m.

In the afternoon, learn how "red wiggler" earthworms can be used to make vermicompost at any scale, while setting up several worm bin systems.  Starter amounts of worms will be available to take home.
